Took a pic of this in Chap park yesterday:

Drop off

Right monster! From the very top of the pic its about a 150ft drop. Ridable in three stages, or can launch the last bit. Someones had go looking at the tyre marks!

Hard to judge the scale of it in a pic. There is a whole bank of them running off the slag heaps, and some pretty sketchy riding.

Check the size of the birches right in the distance, at the top of the first slope.

That first tree was right next to me, on upslope after the drop. The perspective looks weird, its much further away than it looks.

Where do we land? Is that 150ft to flat? lol Can't make it out from the pic. Word is that Josh Bender wants to tackle 150 foot after managing to stick the landing on the jaw drop, anyone know if it's true? Apparently it was on a site of his or that he did an interview for but I havn't seen it.

He broke his back on a 60footer...

I am fairly sure 150ft aint gonna happen. At least, aint gonna be landed succesfully.

Yep he compressed four of his vertibrae the first attemp, went back hit it another four times and didn't stick any (in NWD 4?), decided that it was past his limits and he needed a steeper landing, but then apparently he's been back and stuck it so he's saying he wants to hit a 150ft drop somewhere or other, on Zocchi super monsters so 12" of travel. You're right though I don't think he'd stick the landing but it's Josh Bender we're talking about, he's crazy enough to give it a try.

Its a total 150ft drop I would say, in three stages. Hard to see the first bit right at the top. You can roll the lot, then come up the other side of the valley where I took the pic and onto a big double.
