anyone ever been to lithuania im going with the ta on friday and have no idea what to expect from the country!!
weather? people? etc.

I've been to Kaunas with the TA (Tartan Army).

It was a good laugh, as much as I can remember. The beer is cheap as hell and the birds are well fit. The clubs aren't as dodgy as people made out.

Mate, that's my specialisd subject!!! My old man lives in Vilnius. He owns a bar called the Dubliner, it's mint. Been there a load of times. Depends what you are going out there for but it is good for a wkend, used to be cheap, now they are getting aware of the tourist trade and some things are getting pricey. Especially true about the women, they are all about 6ft tall though so naturally I have to turn them all down being such a midgit - bet they're gutted.

Also, Weather this time of year gets really nice, lots of street cafes etc. If you go in the winter it's about -25C. All blokes are big and ugly so don't be fighting them!!
