Where do they go?

If you look in any bike shop window there's alway some weird and wonderfull bike like Giants Revive or Schwins sting-ray. Yet you never ever see anyone riding this sort of bike!

Do people just use them once then leave them in the shed never to be ridden again?

My LBS has an obsession with road bikes in the window... not a sign of a mountain bike until you go upstairs to the showroom

I quite like the idea of that Giant too.
Although, on reflection, it does remind me of a (sinclair)C5 for some reason.
