You have to admit, the security feature on this is a Clever Design
Note the bike cannot be ridden if the cable is cut!

Lol, 'tis pretty smart, but if though they might not be able to nick your bike, they can still make your life miserable!

surely they'd just cut the wire, fold it up and carry it away if the wire was replaceable? if not, then there doesn't seem much point in a bike someone can destroy with a pair of wire cutters. bikeybikey0

I still say my pipe bomb bike would be more secure!

Round my way, if they couldn't ride away with it they'd just trash it. Seen it done to many a bike. Locked to the lampost with both wheels bent out of shape is not unusual ....

OOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiii!!! I'll get you!!![:p]
Originally from B'Wood, now in Orford. When I first came here 10 years ago it was fine. But as the price of housing shot up, where I live still is one of the cheapest places to live. Hence a lot got bought to rent out, and its been downhill eversince. I'm selling up next year and getting the hell away from here as its getting depressing.[:(]
Chavs everywhere you look, all in regulation shorts, cap, what are "those" shoes they all wear rockport? with socks pulled up. Smoking weed on the street, litter everywhere fat slag G/F hair done in corn rolls, blonde of course 3 year old son who tells people to "**** off!" arhhhh, get me out of here!
I know many areas have similar problems, B'wood has them- armed robbery not that long ago at the Co-Op that birdy mentioned[:0]
But I aim to move back to near where I was raised. There are NO shops nearby, NO pubs within a mile. Many fewer chavs[:D] Not too far from the rugby field should do nicely......

Oh and birdy, get a helmet!!!0 -
Come live in Norfolk Ratty, we don't have too big a problem with Chavs. You got to declare your undying love for a farmyard animal and marry your sister first though. oh, and then there's the webbed feet...
...and sell your MTB as we only got the odd hill, or gentle slope.
You'll love it, we're chav free (even they won't live here!)
Oops, nearly forgot...[;)]

It'll be next year now. I cant be arsed decorating thro' the summer, as it means I'll miss the best riding weather! So up to my eyes in paint and paper come autumn and winter, and on the market in spring.
Birdy, glad you got a lid. Just make sure you use it!
tombate, I's just messin' wit ya! I wouldn't mind round there myself, but am determined to get the most rural place locally I can afford......
