emergency disc brake fix
Can onyone put an end to an ongoing arguement me and my mate are having once and for all. Would putting water in a set of hydraulic brakes work in an emergency if you lost all your fluid and could re fix the hose ? , and if not why ?. An answer would be greatly appreciated.

It would work, providing you could get the air out. But it would boil pretty easily.

now if you could fix the hose why could you not put brake fluid in?

do you mean water or Piss or energy drink.
i would leave it untill i could add the correct fluid. saves having to strip and clean the whole system out.

just ride it nice and slow and manage on the other brake untill you can get it back to civilisation.0
