Great F1 this afternoon!! hamilton gets his first win!! but what a great race, i know its wrong but the crash was superb just glad the driver is ok!!

I knew he'd win a race this season, didn't think it'd be this early in the season though!

Very well done Lewis, glad to see that Kubica is ok (broken leg....?) I remeber Senna's crash and its a long time since I saw one that heavy. I honestly do not undedrstand anyone saying a crash like that is great???? How the **** is that great? BUT, at least hes ok, which is the main thing.

Fantastic race and unbelievable composure from Lewis! Kubica's crash was incredible. The utmost credit should be given to the cars designers. It's unbelievable that he only sustained a broken leg (which still may be serious) from a crash of that magnitude!

i ve wondered the same thing about button being in the mclaren this year but one area where hamilton looks absolutley top drawer is he never seems to look ruffled under pressure and for a rookie in f1 thats amazing.if you watched the moto gp as well then casey stoner did a brilliant job in holding off valentino rossi for the entire race , but this being stoner s second full season.going to be interesting watching lewis s career evovle,sure looks promising.

Didn't see the race (or crashes - hope all are ok) , but hats off to Hamilton - he appears to be the real deal.

A bit premature I know but, and he must have a decent chance, has a rookie ever been champion in modern times?

I'm so chuffed for the lad. Considering McClaren orignally decided not to promote him into F1 and were gonna just make him a test driver this year, they're change of mind has been completely justified. Wish I'd seen the race, sounds like a cracker! Hamilton for the title, maybe...

Great win for the lad. He sure has a bright career ahead of him. Add's a little GB interest to a pretty dull sport IMO. Sad thing is, the guy will soon be labotamised by the PR people and become another F1 drone.

As for the Moto GP, now thats entertainment. Stoner and Rossi changed places about 15 times in the last 5 laps. Thats more passing than in most F1 seasons!

I thought it wasa rather dull race - too many safety cars - and Hamilton didn't have to over take anyone, just clear track most of the way! I bet he could have a race like that every time.
