Fox Flux helmet

Just bought one of these:
http://www.awcycles.co.uk/brands/Fox%20 ... index.aspx Have given it a bit of a tug[:D][:I] and wondered if after tugging it'll come off (the spoiler that is![:D]) Not too bothered if it wont really, just wondering.

Bought it after trying on the Giro Xen and really not liking the fit, this just fit sooooo much better.

I'm with you on the Giro Xen - I found it the most uncomfortable helmet I've tried on. Interested to know if you can get the spoiler off. That looks like a well nice helmet! [:D]

I found teh giron hex really comfortable. I think its just the shape of your head. Bit expencive that helmet [:o] though it is nice [:D]

You may well be right about my head shape! I found the Xen pressed really hard at the top rear of my head, where my old Gird E2 was sooooooooo comfy.
Anothe thing with the Flux, it was heaper than the Xen so........
Unfortunately, they only had the Hex in small. No where near the right size for me, although the Fox sizing for me is small medium at 58cm head circ.

Cool, a mass debate over you tugging your helmet.

I say tug it and see what happens. I also agree, the Xen seemed to sit too far from my head, but then my head is the shape of a football.

i'm not sure about the spoiler on that fox lid. i wore i xen at a road race the other week and the roodies hate you having a a peek on your helmet may be if i get a peek back and front like on the fox that will really annoy them.

have you had a fiddle with your helmet? might be worth getting your mrs (/mr) to have a look at it??

I couldn't possibly comment on fiddling with my helmet![:D] Bit like Fozzy in that respect at the moment[:(]

I ride my roadie in a pair of Endurs Singletrack shorts, mainly 'cause the world is defo not ready to see me in lycra[:0] I wear my other helmet (Giro E2) on the roadie, and for commuting (29er) never had any comments, unless they were out of earshot maybe......[:I]

Now, try saying "Fox Flux helmet" while eating a fig roll.
The GF is now even more concerned about what I get up to, supposedly riding my bike, in the woods every day[:D]
