Yep, I agree! Complete waste of time! The highlight of the afternoon was when Cyclesurgery started handing out their brochures! [:D] Went down like a lead ballon with the Evans boys!

The Evan's employees were probably wondering what a bike is as usual.

My colleague went to them so we could do an independant assessment for warranty claims and they said "A GT I-drive, what's that?" NO JOKE!

i won't have a bad word said about cycle surgery, there "forgetfulness" has saved me a fortune, last time i was in ....

xt rear casset, fsa head set, 819 rim, spokes, hope pro II hub, chain, xt pads, new barring in the rear wheel, all fitted for œ103 - bargain. it took the two goes though and they did miss the main pivot and middle chain ring that needed replacing.

I know a few of the chaps in Evans and they are ok but generally it is a different team every time i go in.

Halfords - they tried to sell me specialised once through the Bikes for work sceam, great apart from they arn't authorised dealers so you don't get a warranty, some of that bike hut stuff gets good reviews though.
