Just purchased a Stumpy FSR Pro and its fitted with Panaracer trailblaster tyres. Me thinks these are a bit on the knobbly side for me. My problem is what to replace them with. I expect 50% of use on tarmac the rest on fairly easy trails e.g. sustrans routes so would listen to recommendations please.

Something like a Panaracer Razer or Schwalbe Racing Ralph would probably work for the summer time on those types of trails.

  • The Trailblasters aren't that nobbly to be honest, fairly low rolling resistance and very light. I would give them a try first.
