I'd go for the one that fit me the best and was most comfortable. Is Winstanleys your local shop?
Be aware the mantra is a different type of bike to the others, nuch heavier for harder terrain.

It would be between the Giant and Dawes for general riding, me personally prefering the Giant due to its slightly better frame and forks.

On the point of riding style, I'm pretty sure she doesn't ride on-road as such, but light mountain-bike-style riding (i.e she mentioned forest floor, tracks).
