If you've got to pay someone to rebuild your wheels with the new rims it might wowrk out cheaper to just buy a new wheelset.

As for tyres, it all depends on what you want to pay / where your riding.

cheers for the quick replies. the bike is as it was bought in the image so i dont know what wheels go on it ?

is there bike breakers, or worth trying ebay? any help would be great.

Are you after retro parts or just something that will work?

If money is not so much of an issue merlin do some good deals on wheel kits tyres and cassette inculded.

    check out http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/acatalog/Wheel_Kits.html

btw that bike looks quite battered make sure everything is working propperly before trashing it about, ideally have a good lbs give it a good service. not that there is anything wrong with that just that it looks like it hasnt been riden in a while.

your also going to need a new chain make sure you order the right chain for the number of gears you have.
