Which seatpost?
I'm looking for a new seatpost as the one I've got doesn't really look great and was just something I ended up with.
I must admit to fancying a carbon post but am not prepared to spend more than œ50 on a post.
Other option is a Thomson which may be a better bet as I'm not the lightest of riders at the moment.
Any opinions on the post below?

ive just ordered a thomson one,a mate of mine has a 3 year old one and it still looks brand new0

get a thomson post off ebay. there's a seller in japan that has them cheap and delivery is VERY fast.
i went for silver as a few people i know with the black ones said they show up scratches and marks really easily. not an issue with silver.

My vote would be for an Easton EA70 at abour œ40 including delivery, it's a good deal on a great seatpost.

I have the thomson and its great, I have a black one and it looks good on my black bike.

The clamp on an easton ea70 is not as good as the clamp on the thomson. And the thomson has tougher anodizing.0
