New wheelset

Hi all....I use my mountain bike for getting to work and off roading on the weekend so I change my tires about 2-3 times a week, which is becoming a little
tiresome, So I was looking into buying another pair of wheels and just switching between the wheels. I run disc brakes so would I need to get exactly the same
Hub and disc for the wheels to fit exactly between the pads, or are all hubs the same width? Currently run XT 6-Bolt hubs, but wanted to get a pair of Hope 11's
for the mtb wheelset...would this work or would I have issues with the disc brakes not centering?

hubs should be the same but generally are not. but all is not lost as you can get spacers for between the disc and hub. hope and syntace do them.

just get a new wheel set and shim one set sorted. but still note it will take a couple of brake aplications to re bed the pads in each time (after you have bedded in the new discs).

I have a set of XT 6 bolt and a set of ProIIs and you will probably need to shim the ProIIs (I did).
