How have GT managed to spec a 500 quid bike with X9 and deore brakes and a Marzocchi fork

when similar from Trek etc. will be deore groupset with perhaps Hayes soles and a suntour or RST or if lucky a RS Dart fork?

My guess is that it is old stock. It is a 2006 model and only available in small, most likely they only have one or 2. CRC are most likely flogging it of cheap to make room in their warehouse.

GT have not done it CRC have. they will as Sonic says bought up old stock cheap and are still selling it at a profit.

there is a downhill bike on there with a 1.5K fork on it being sold for about 1.5k for the bike.

Some steals on CRC. The Beone I bought was XT, crossmax wheels, Skarab fork (ok, thats hit and miss), RaceFace crank for 600.
