I was really tempted to keep it the way it was, but it is going to be used and abused, I don't think retro will be able to cope. I am going to keep all the parts as I replace them. I nearly bought a full new deore/lx drivetrain for it, but then backed out as it is not nesesscery! Must make a mental note to stop spending money.

Well it is an awesome bike I love it, you kept it in good condition aswell. I will look after it, and the wheels wont be the last of the up grades either.

difficult to justify when put alongside the crosser and the 29er and I feel more comfortable on something the size of the 29er Also there is a big crack at the join of the seattube and the bottom bracket.
