Cycle carrier - lighting board?

Hi all!
Can I ask the people who use a car cycle carrier - have you got a lighting board (lights + extra number plate) that you fit "on top" of the bikes (which otherwise obscure the car's lights and reg plate)?
If you don't have one, have you ever had any trouble (stopped by police, etc)?

You've banned everything, still have the nerve to call this a free country??

I don't have a "lighting board", but generally carry the bike without wheels on, so the lights and number plate on the car are visible. I just stick the wheels in the boot and it makes the bike lighter on the rack too.

Lol! Was laughing at you on the way back from Dalbeattie Derek. In the car on your own, wheels in the back, could EEEAAAASILY have fit your frame in too, but you choose to display it beautifully on the back of your car!!! [}:)][:X][:X][:X][8D]
Edit, sorry, back on topic, I used to put mine on the back but not sure if it obscured the number plate, my cars usually so filthy you cant read it through the winter anyway, never been stopped. Mind you, I drove past a police car in Gala the other night, 11pm and had forgotten to switch my lights on and they never noticed.

Yep, considered removing the wheels but the trouble is I'd have to deflate them on one of the bikes in order totake them off every time(due to the brakes) , which is quite inconvenient.
