XTR Gear Cables
I have just got some XTR gear cables and the instructions are to say the least "Not There".
Anyone tell be where the rubber end cap things fit as they seem a poor fit in the frame mounts.
The harder plastic ones seem OK on there own but the back of the pack shows that the rubber is fitted over the plastic bit!
Thanks in advance.[:D]

Some cables have little boot things on the end of them to try and stop grit getting in the outers:

The hard plastic guides with the thin tube parts on them go through the guides in the frame and the softer rubber covers then push over the thin tube part as an additional shroud. I've got the XTR cables fitted on my bike, agree that thre are a lack of instruction in how to fit them.0
