why is that, are they quite old (sorry, havent been biking long enough to know when parts are from) or are they, just not that good...
when you said "better would be the black mk2 m4's", could you give me a link to such a brake...
Would these brakes be any better than something like hayes hfx-9's?

i run a set of mk2 and mk3.. the mk2 go for 120-150 on STW regularly.
as for better than hayes 9 i came from 9's as did another lad we ride with and we are both super SUPER happy with the m4's.. i can't say enough about them although there will be people on here who rave about the 9's.. i don't like them.

i've had riding buddies change from 9's to m4's as they do not feel the 9's were up to the job.

i have just seen a M4 front brake on STW, am awaiting pics to see if its a MK2 though...
OT: I cannot post on STW though, even though i have registered/gone through all the preocedures, did you have any problems when you first joined. its either that or i just cant find the reply button...
