I know, but he wasn't very specific in aksing about it, and I can't be bothered writing an essay about it!
I'll be more than happy to answer any questions about it though.

ha hilarious ok then smart arse....
Is it any good and worth making the trip? As opposed to say Glentress0 -
I still fancy having a go at some of the Dark side. Not until my shore skills improve though.

Rich - It depends what you want to do. The darkside is pretty much entirely made out of north shore. It's nothing like Glentress. There are a few small bits of shore at Glentress and they are very easy in comparison.
If you want to ride very technical north shore and are confident about doing so then go to the Darkside. If you don't then go somewhere else and practice first.

Depends if you enjoy riding shore.
I like riding shore, so it's very worthwhile for me, but I can very rarely find anybody <s>stupid</s> interested enough to go [:(]
Most of it is about a foot wide and not too high, but there are plenty technical bits spread throughout it's length, which vary from rock features, rock gardens, skinnies, 90deg corners, high sections, steep sections, and the infamous gap at the end.
By all means, if you like north shore, go and try it, but to quote Hamish "There were some nice singletrack bits along the side", aswell as the comment about "it was a nice walk" [:D]

It's an awesome bit of trail building, but I found it difficult to ride the whole section, there were some bits best left to the pro's
