Magura Laurin V' White Bros Magic 100

Last October I bought a Merlin Malt4 fitted with Magura Laurin forks. After a month the Albert Select platform on the top right leg failed to work. I was advised to send them back to Magura UK and that they would replace the internal spring. They did this very quickly and I had my fork back in two days. It would appear that the same thing has happened again [|)] I have been advised by merlin to return them again. I am pretty pi$$ed off to be honest. They are really good forks when they work but are proving unreliable. I might just ditch them and go for a pair of White Bros Magic's. Has anyone got any feedback with regards to these forks?

Havent herd much about those forks are you gonna get your money back for them?

I have no idea to be honest, Merlin have asked me to send them back and they will speak to Magura.
But if the are this unreliable even after being fixed I am not sure if I want them anymore.
It may be time for another for:(

Personally I would send them back to Merlins and ask them to be replaced with a set of Rebas.

Yeh rebas are great forks i have them and they are super smooth. Great forks [:D]

iirc white bros forks take a while to settle and bed....they CAN be very good forks from the reviews ive read.

however, from the spares and repairs point of view and the back up and knowledge thats out there, i dont think you can go wrong with rock shox.
