I haven't had a puncture in 3 months with Conti protection tyres.... had 3 in a week, including 2 in 20 mins on a cycle path before that.

You can get slime strips og tape that you put in between tyre and tube that add some more protection.

It's always going to happen. You will always trade weight for protection, just like you trade cost against weight when buying bikes.

Yeah there doing well much faster than the
Gravitys they replaced, and even though
there not made for mud I have took them
on the moors which in places have been quite
boggy, and they have performed better than expected
they have been fine on dry gravel too and havent slid
out.

will buy agian but will try protection version
beacuse there not as nobley as some tyres they
seem prone to puncutes in the flat part of the tyre
