Hi guys,
got the new ride now, but it didn't come with the foot baskets.
trying to manuals and bunny hops slipped off twice and have some colourful shins now.

Someone said "there are packs out there, shoes, pedals and cleets" anyone know of any? I've had a look about but can't find any.
I don't wanna spend loads, say œ50, would i be better off to
A) leave be for now and get good SPD's when i've more money

get baskets
or any other suggestions (about SPD's!!)

You don't need spds to bunny hop, in fact they are unhelpful and don't teach you the correct technique. Get some decent flats with good pins and learn on them, then maybe get spds if you want to do xc/am.

For œ50 you could buy some DMR v12 mags, which are good, or you could buy v12s and get something else.

Yep i learnt to hop in flats and it is really useful on spd's [:D]

Well on spds you don't have to hop properly so you get really lazy, flats are where the cool kids are.

i've got the studs on the flat's, that's what broke the skin in several places!!
I'll keep on the flat's, and when i've been at it a bit more and i've got more œ's I'll get some nice ones, unless of course (pikey podders again!) anyone has a set for sale?
