Always remember to pick your Uni according to the local trails or you'll be stuck with nowhere to ride for three years!0 -
What about bang for your buck? The Hope is œ59.99 , the Chris King is œ95 . Is it œ35 better or will a Hope serve you well?0

CK are only about œ70 inc postage with the titanium base from here
For the money CK are def better.

Did you get hit with taxes when it came through customs? How long did it take?0 -
Does anyone has pics of the pewter or silver Chris King headsets on a bike?
Thanks0 -
Also remember your wqarranty if not from an official dealer. Thats half the point with CK and they DO fail.

Not very often according to Chris King:
"Our seals protect the bearings so well that we often see headsets 10, and even 15, years old that have never been serviced and still run like new.
Though our offer still stands, few people ever have to take us up on our 10 year warranty."
To be subjective, i use both (2 x King & 1 x Hope). In use, they both feel the same. The chances are that the CK will out last the Hope (one is over 10 years old already), but, for average use a Hope is more than good enough. For the average rider and FSA XL 2 is more than ample.Roadie
