After just convincing a female friend that rubbin' salt and water onto her legs will help releive shin splints, is it me or does the female sex seem to be more gullable than the male??

i managed to convince some bloke in a club who tried to chat me up that my name was esmerelda, and that i was a professional cheese taster. i then made up a variety of different cheeses that he should try. he bought it (the story, not the cheese - it didn't exist).

I used to tell women that I worked scraping up road kill and giving it a proper burial - not any old stuff, but large animals like deer and livestock as it was a legal requirement. If they were finding that unlikely, simply telling them it was part time work whilst I was studying to help treat sick puppies as a vet clinched it.

BTW Cazz, saz, mudface - I don't actually do either of those things.

I also used to tell the ladies that I was a rapper had my stage name on my bank cards. I simply covered my first name with my thumb and they were instantly impressed (see profile for explanation).

Years ago, when I was at a filling station putting petrol in the car, my (now-ex) wife asked me why the pump clicked every now and then. I told her it was so that blind drivers could tell how much fuel they had put in their tanks and she accepted that expalanation without question!! [:o)]

Saz - Everyone knows that the clicks aren't for blind drivers. They just put their finger through the fuel hole and start filling. When the fluid level touches their fingers then it's full. Obviously.

Of course, that's only for really blind drivers. The ones with some sight can often get by using prescription windscreens.

I remember a few years ago BT where fitting new telephone boxes in the high street where i live, they hadnt fitted the phones just the empty boxes, so my dad and sister walked past, my sister said howcome they havent fitted the phones?? my dad answered there boxes for people to talk to themselves!! my sister just said cool!!

Very guilable we laughed for ages when dad told us!! oh my sister was 15 at the time!!
