Very sexy - it's a cross between an Enduro SL and the new Pace full susser! If it rides as good as it looks - it'll be fantastic! looks light too.

Agreed, i like simple straight lines on my bikes.

Although curvy frames seem to be all the rage at the mo.
I thought last years trance was really good looking.

I thought they may have upped the travel as well to 120mm. The Giant range is strange with a 3.5" bike and a 4.2" bike then a 6" is the bike in the range. The anthem and trance need more to differenciate them in the range. Whilst a rood rider will be pretty much able to anything that the bike was intended for on the Trance, the lack of travel must put off many customers.

Whilst it's just a matter of opinion - I love the aesthetics of the SL and this bike.

this IS an upp'd stroke

this "X" version of the trance is 5" and there STILL will be a 4.2" version of the trance

That makes sense then. Like the XTC being 80mm, I thought giant was trying to stay behind the times on suspension travel.

Must say I prefer less curvy bikes, I don't mind a bit of hydroforming but things have now gone too far. Makes them look like shopping bikes. For me it seems to have gone beyond engineering reasons / rider comfort and is now done mainly for appearance.

im lovin my trance - when not binning it lol - agreed above lines look pretty but cabling is awfull, overall i like it!
