need help wiv my hope disc brake

ive just brought a new hope disc but its 10mm to big i was wondering if there was a bracket so i can move my caliper so it sits 10mm higher..[:p]

What size rotor did you have, do you have now, and what disc mounts are you using? Are you usuing any current adaptor?

i brought the disc brakes second hand the discs are 185mm but they was 6 bolt and my wheels are 5 bolt so i brought a new disc and i went to put my wheel back on but the disc sat to high into the caliper so i couldnt bolt my wheel in ive seen a bracket sum where for hope brakes where u can higten ur caliper for better braking perfomance and thought i might solve my problem but i cant find it anywhere...0

So your old system was a 175mm disc?

some thing sounds wrong there i dont think you can get a 175mm set up, are you sure you have got the disc attacted to the bike properly,

no worries ive sorted it now but the problem was the disc is meant to be 165mm but ive got the 185mm ive just ordered an adaptor to make my caliper sit higher its meant to giv u better braking performance so alls good now cheers0
