Got transport and all of Sunday to kill so if anyone fancies it just say aye. Not got a pc at the moment(blagging a shot of my sisters here) so I'm not on very often but will check back Saturday and see who's up for what.

Probably 12 would be a better time to start, it could be slow in the rain. Ha ha. Saz, you can come if you like at least that way if you go in front of me then I'll know what bits I can manage without falling off!

Think I'll join you guys. My ride round GT Black was cut short today due to a pedal malfunction.[:(]. (Spookily, exactly the same stretch that Andy broke his Soul frame).

Luckily I've got a spare pair here so I will be back riding tomorrow.

Guys, we might have trouble parking today as the car park is being shut for resurfacing work.(According to the Stanes website)

How about Inners as an alternative if there is no where to park?

We can assess the situation when we arrive.

Great ride today, thorough enjoyed myself. Thats the first time I've done the black without being cold. Usually by the time I've done most of redemption I just want it all to be over and to go home, but loved it all today. Great company too, thanks guys.[:)]
And I cleared the XX steps again.[:D]

Another big thumbs up from me too. Had a rattly good time.Even cleared those terrifying steps Saz keeps on talking about. It was a bit warm too but nothing really bad. 3 litres of water in, erm....nothing out the other end. Going to wring out my helmet pads again.

Wish I hadn't still been a bit hungover as it was one heck of a slog, and also wish I hadn't decided to reduce the negative pressure in my forks and spill lube over my pads and rotor. That made the last few sections interesting with a totally unpredictable front brake.

I'm still really dehydrated and trying to recover a bit more before switching to Rioja.

Great ride and good company though. Cheers.
