Flat bars

I'm looking to get some, along with some lock on grips. Does anyone know of a set of flat bars 24" or wider? Biggest I've found so far is 23"

Is it for the bike in your sig?
Why not try moving the spacers so they are above the stem? That will give you a slightly sportier feel, without spending owt on new bars.
This is an assumption... But I think that dropping the stem BELOW the spacers will give you the same sort of feeling as going to flats, but still keeping your existing stem/bar/bar end combo. If it feels ok, then you'll probably want to get the steerer trimmed down an inch or so. But that's a lot easier than buying new bars.
As for lock on grips, I can heartily recommend Odi / Oury lock ons from ebay (œ15 complete). They are really comfy for big handed freaks like moi!

Getting Odi grips anyway. Yeah, the bars will be for the Fisher, but purely for the looks I'd rather get a flat bar than move the stem below the spacers. Probably going to get some nicer bar ends too.... the ones I have look a bit naff

if you get flat bars AND drop the stem, you might find it too low. riser bars add anything from 1" maybe more. the effect of moving to flats AND dropping the stem might make it to low at the front - you'll be straining your neck to look anywhere in the distance! what bars have you got at the mo?

Not going to drop the stem, that's staying put.
At the mo I've got the OE Bonty crowbar riser.

oh, and flat bars will make the bike feel a bit twitchy compared to risers. i think thats why they are harder to find in wider sizes.
(thats one of those "facts" im sure i read, but also, might have completely made up!)

You had them in your hands and you gave them back?[;)]
Hmm! What do I do? Need to put some money away to buy things for the new arrival this Christmas or do I have one last fix? Responsible parent[:D] or bike junkie[}:)]?

Responsible bike junkie. Buy bits for your current baby before the new one bleeds you dry ;-)
