Kona Kikapu 2007 or Scott FX35 2006?

Hi Guy's i'm new to the forum so please allow me to introduce myself. I live in wolves and looking to get back in to my mtb'ing.

Anyways I had my bike stolen out of my garage last week(Scott fx3 2002) if you see onr for sale please pm me.

As an insurance replacement I have been offered:
Kona 2007 kikapu
Scott reflex fx35 2006

In your opinion guys which one is the "better bike"? any info you could give that would be great.

Hi and Welcome

My personal choice would be the Scott, excellent all round spec, probably helped by the fact that it only has V brakes, having said that I do think that Kona's have a tendency overall to be under specced for the money.

The Scott is the better bike IMHO, looks good value at œ720, apart from the brakes upgrades over the Kona in most other areas and 27 spd as a pose to 24 on the Kona

The Scott is much better value. Konas are horribly overpriced at any level...
