Pedals

Hello
I need to buy some pedals and would like some advice.
I want some good pedals with toe clips.
I currently have a GT Avalanche Expert 2007 which has Crack Bros Egg Beaters, but I have recently had a leg operation so will not be able to use clip pedals for some time.
I want some reasonable pedals that will be in keeping with the bike. Any suggestions ? ?
Thanks

DMR V8/V12 or the Wellgo copies of them. Superb flatties.
Toe clips are a pain in the butt, so just go with flatties for now until your leg is fully healed then back to clipless.

Stay well away from toe clip pedals. If the straps are tight enough to be efficient getting your foot in/out can be a nightmare.0

Yeah, good pair of removable pinned flats, also worth a look are the wellgo MG1 pedals, nice and very light. As for shoes, whatever works.

Wow, I remember the old round shape Bear Traps that the cool kids used to have in my BMX youth. There was another popular BMX pedal that looked the same shape as the DMR/Wellgo MTB ones, can't for the life of me remember who made them though [?]
