Pedals - Cheap flats?

I'm after a pair of flats to replace my trusty DMR V8s which I've tried to service and found that the axles are worn, not just the ballsbearings.

I'm after something similar in shape/size but preferably with replaceable cartridge bearings rather than just balls running in grease straight onto the shaft.

The Wellgo V12 copies look the best option at the minute but they aren't particularly light.. Is there anything else of a similar price that I should look at? The V12 Mags are well out of my price league before anyone suggests them by the way.

V8s are irritatingly useless. Get something else.

I'd say go for V8's if the MG 1's don't take your eye, never any problems with mine.

All I can say is I've had 2 sets of V8s and they never actually collapsed or anything, but they were never smooth or beautiful. The same goes for anyone I know who's had them.

Colour wise, go for silver flats so they don't look rough when all the paint comes off.

Veg, just strip them and readjust the bearings.

MG1 on ebay the best bargain out there.

Wellgo MG1s, you know it makes sense. They are usually the most voted for in this category on here.

Superstar Nanos, or if you like black the Exotic version of the same pedal which is cheaper... just edge the MG1s for me (I have had V8 copies, and now have MG1s and Nanos). My next pedals will probably be the Exotics... but the MG1s are still going fine.

Nano's or Exotic would be my choice.
I don't like the MG1's, they just aren't quite as comfortable or grippy. I put a set on my hardtail and after 6 weeks use they ended up on ebay and replaced with Shimano Saint flats which are as good as the Superstar Nano's but prettier!
