Yes i'm up for Sat. I don't mind where.
I've just ordered a new memory card for my phone/sat nav so I might have that up and running before the weekend (depends on how quick ebay postage is).

Hi Trio. I'm always up for a ride; so basically any time or place will be be fine!

Probably the simplest way to arrange something is if you just post up whatever you fancy on here (or give me a ring on ************).

Unfortunately I don't think anyone else is out mid-week. Although hopefully everyone will be out again this weekend (Saturday).

I tried emailing you gf3, I'd take your mobile number off the forum!

I can do tomorrow, prob late notice or friday as long as I can back for 1ish, but we could just start early. Could maybe do thursday, I was planning on taking the road bike out but I could easily do that another day.

    So what do you fancy?

Sorry Trio, I never read my emails from this forum.

    Blimey, what a choice.
It looks like Thursday suits you best. Should we say about 9.00/9:30 so you can get back early?

When I go around Ladybower I normally park here
It's a big layby over-looking Ladybower Res', just off the A57 (Snake pass). You'll have no trouble finding it and it's relatively easy to get to from Manchester.

p.s. I love road riding as well. However, I've just sold all my road bikes (last one went today) so I can get one good bike for myself and a MTB for Rach.

Is layby actually on A57 then, hopefully I'll find it. Should be easy enough. I'll aim for 9am hopefully I'll be going the opposite way to all the traffic, some poor people have to work this week!

I don't do much road riding but do ride to and from work, I decided the other week that I should try 100miles on the road. One of my friends says I should be able to manage it if I can do 83k off road, we'll see though. Might try that on wednesday so might be tired on thursday.

What route were you thinking of?

Selling all your road bikes? Well I suppose it is for a good cause!

You'll do the 100 miles no problems; but your legs might hurt for a few days after.

I haven't got a route planned. I was just going to make it up as I went along.

Yep, I want my Marin back. At the moment i'm having to fight her for it.

Luckly it's a bit too large for her (and far too heavy) or I would of lost it all together.

So now she just has to decide which bike she wants.

    Okay see you there.
