Ive got a 2006 GT Avalanche 3.0 - without disc brakes.
Can you advise me on a realistic value i can expect to get for it - and also the best place to advertise and sell it. Thankyou.
I have upgraded the following parts to -
New DMR Zip Grips, Easton EA50 Handle bars, FSA XC 140 Headset, SDG Bel Air Saddle, Marzocchi MX Comp Forks and Shimano DX Pedals.
The bike is still in very good condition.

The basic bike was œ250 iirc, with the upgrades you have made I think that œ400 would be a realistic price, trouble is Mtb's and any upgrades rarely hold any true value and you are likely to lose any money invested in it.

Try E bay and the forum classifieds.

Yeah Ebay is likely to get you more than you would probably get elsewhere

  • I don't really think you'd get anywhere near œ400 for it on ebay. Especially without discs, I think they tend to be a big draw.

But I can't suggest a good estimate either.

I know it's been upgraded but I can't see the bike making over œ100. (lets hope i'm wrong)

You might be better of splitting the bike.

I'd say œ150 tops so you'd be better off splitting it.
