Just bought new shoes

And new pedals, a toolkit, a multi tool, 4 new inners, mudgaurds, chainlube and a muck off cleaning kit [:D] but cost me œ360 from crc[V], who said this sport was cheap!!!

Bought these shoes tho everyone, thanks for your help, came on the crc website this morning and they had new sizes in, 52 extra wide. Should even be able to wear my seal skins[:)]

Well hopefully, for tools, and such like that it is a one off payment, usually I just ride freeride once a week, so take my bike to my lbs, where i get free servicing, if there is a problem with that, but with the arrival of my new handjob I will be riding alot more, so need all the tools and everything like that. Just got to wait for the bike.

Haha, too true, it is never ending cost, thats why I buy stuff for strength, so hopefully I break fewer things.

Those shoes are great mate, I have had a pair for a couple of months now. The only problem I had was they didn't suit me when using Candys, so I changed to Mallets and they're now fine. They fit really nice and offer loads of adjustment too.

Which one did you go for the transition. My new frame only wieghs 4.5lb, I on the other hand am close to 300lb, I hope I don't brake it, I did check for maximum user wieght.

Yeah, well I got the 52, just incase I wanted to wear the seal skins in the winter, but they are massive, so am getting the 50s. It don't bother me, my bike won't be on the road for a couple of weeks, so it can wait untill then, which is why they will be here tomorrow (is that impatient?)

Well the shoes (correct size) are here, so briefly I have 2 pairs, put the cleats on went for a nice tootle down the raod last night, thought hey this is easy. Went for a quick spin just a minute ago, came to the traffic lights and started to go for the tumble. If it wasnt for the pedestrian railing i happened to be leaning on I am sure i would of taken a toumble. looks like i need some more practice.

Seven and a half years. Most awesome resurrection ever.
