Hexhamshire Common, Blanchland, High Cup Nick, Keilder, Hamsterley...what do people fancy?

Me me me!!!

I vote High Cup Nick (since we haven't done it before), and Hamsterley (we've only been a couple of times and there's loads of trails still to do!), but I'm more than happy to go with the majority.

Carrie, ask Gordon if he's taken the bridleway in the second half of the route before.

Looks to be just over 40km or 25 miles...but that is guessing using the Gordon formula.

A mate is coming up on the Saturday with his fiancee. We'll be up for a ride on the Saturday, leaving the girlies to do girly things. Hamsterley would be top of my list, but I'm easy.....

I've been told by my better half that I am doing Hamsterly on Saturday. Apparently her friend that is coming up is meeting someone in Darlington so we are going down to meet them and then the boys are going for a ride while the girls go for a walk with the new baby. (Glad I have my wife to sort out my life for me....)

Anyhoo all this means that I will be riding around Hamsterly on the Saturday, we'll probably do the black (plus a couple of cheeky bits) and then fool about on the skills loop until the girls finish their walk. If anyone wnats to join us, I'm sure they would be more than welcome....

Can't do saturday[:(] but happy to ride sunday and monday, High Cup Nick looks good if the weather is good. Word of warning though, the trails around there can get very boggy after rain. Jon - i've not done the bridleway on the second half of the map you put up, so have no idea what the going will be like. Post on STW, you'll get a better response over there with regards to the riding around that area, Simonbarnes is the man to ask.

One o'clock in the main car park at Hamsterley is the plan so far. The route looks like being 'Black' plus a couple of cheeky bits, +/- the extension to black (depending on how people feel), and then arssing about on the skills loop.
