spd shoes?

I ahve just my pair of these shoes. They ahve a rubber bit on the bottom. How do i get it off to fit the cleats?

take a stanly knife to it
its just that middle bit you want off,
score the reccessed bit,
pull up a corner and it should come away with a bit of force

Isn't it in the manual?

I bought my shoes years ago, they have a hard plastic sole with 2 slider holes to attach the cleat. Then you remove the inner shoe pad and put the sticker above the holes to make it waterproof.

So, your shoes probably have the same two holes under the rubber. Cut it!

The whole outlined bit of rubber should come away, giving you a bit of leeway as to where you position the cleats

sorry i didnt check back up,
it sounds like youve got it sorted now,

but just incase its the whole shape not the square, if you understand what i mean(cant describe what shape it is),
once you start it should all just peel away easy,

i know what shape it is a sanitary towel(one with wings)[:D], thats what you want removed from the bottom of the shoe

by removing all of the rubber bit means that the cleat can put pushed up and down the shoe,
so that you can find the most comfortable cleat-pedal/foot postion

I need my cleats pushed further back as it hurts your feet if you land jumps with them too far forwards. [:D]

this topic just helped me fit the cleats to my MP66's. Thanks to all the contributors! Next step is to try them out, which I will probably do on Monday.
