FAO Edinburgh Lot - Go-Karting, BBQ, & Bike play

I've been thinking about this for a while, and need to know if enough people would be interested.
Since Raceland is only a couple miles from my house, I was thinking of organising a Go-Karting session, followed by a BBQ, and playing about on the pump track, northshore, jumps etc that keep appearing around the house.

I've had a look at the Raceland website (http://www.raceland.co.uk), and best option would be a Grand Prix, but for best value for money, we'd need 16 drivers.
A Super Grand Prix on the outside track would cost œ60 each, or a Grand Prix on the Inside track would be œ45, provided there's 16 drivers.

And if anybody wanted to stay and get drunk, there's plenty room for camping.

So, who would be interested?

Same for me. Went karting last year at McMerry and I was fastest until my mate forced me off the track.[;)]

I think you need to pay up front on c/card, so give us a shout when you need the cash.

Yeah, defo the outside track, the inside is a waste of time. Its too small with no room to pass.

I could of rowed to Taiwan, mined the ore, refined it, made the tubes, machined them, welded everything together, painted it, and then rowed back via america so I could pick up the shock!

As much as I'd like a Nicolai, I prefer the look of the Nox (plus the fact it's a bit lighter with more travel is always a bonus)

Ok, have just been checking dates, and weekend choice is limited.

Options that I can see are, 2nd or 30th Jun, or 21 Jul, so any preference?

Karting is afternoons according to the site.
Once a date has been decided, I'll check that the karting is available, and what time it'll be.

Ok have just checked with Raceland, and 30th is fully booked, except for the indoor track at 9.30am!
So, it looks like it'll be the end of july :-/
