Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the above chainset and my 9 speed XT Chain, occasionally if i shift up or down into the middle ring the chain or sometimes just part of the chain slips between the top and middle ring indicating to me that maybe the chain isnt compatible with the chainset although thought it should be, my gears are set up (used to be a mechanic in a Bike shop so there "Bob on" but I have only just come back into MTBing so dont know about product compatibilities. Any help appreciated

If I ever could think of a good signiture to put i'm sure life would be better for everyone

Sounds like it could be that, but i have no idea what your crank set is rated for. Are all the chain ring bolts on nice and tight?

    xt Nick.

Even if it wasn't shifting all the way, it shouldn't get jammed inbetween the rings?
