I would maybe buy a new hub, because then you have something new, and it wont have any weaknesses, which could have happened when your old one broke

and what woud you do with the new hub? pay for a wheel strip down and rebuild posibly with new spokes? may as well get a new wheel.
just fix the old wheel will cost about the same as a hub.

dint know you hat to use different size ones {what will it do if you use the wrong size}0
-
well if he does not use the correct size spokes you will not be riding any time soon.
just get you hub fixed as it will be the quickest and cheapest.

they spokes are Stainless 14G that is all it says
shimano hb m475 is the hub on it and it also had a different shimano hub cant rember what it is called.0 -
listen get you hub fixed.
why do you think companies make spokes in lengths that only change by one mm?
if you change hubs from shimano to DMR you WILL need new spokes. but you will still have the same old rim and a build by some one who has not built many wheels. Read sheldon browns pages on wheel building. linky in sig.
so. get hub sorted about q tenner.
mates hub and some stem œ15, plus spokes say 36? i guess the hub has the same number of holes as the rim? so back to the cost of spoke say 25p each so œ9.
œ10 or œ25?
