Is that a berm, and if you dont take the berm but go straight on its a jump?

I was going to make a berm, with the backside of the berm being a landing, but i didnt

I made a berm once which was either a Jump or a berm..if you know what I mean.. Made a landing behind the berm.
Turned out pretty cool until Mr Chav ruined it!

I get what he means. well I think I do.. It loops around and then you jump over the side of the berm?

I know what you mean. You spin round 450 degrees leaving you facing the face of the berm you entered. This allows you the ability to either have a ramp at the end to jump the berm you entered or use the berm to jump out and continue the trail. It sounds cool and might work in practice but its a one person only thing as racing through it could be messy.

Nick you enter the berm as normal but you keep turning till your facing 90 degrees onto the berm you entered. Wouldnt work so well on a slope but would be fun on a flat pump course

Stuff think about it. how big would it have to be to have a ridable berm that would be crossable/jumpable?

or how tight the last bit would be?

I know nick but you may get away with a small berm and hit it slower. My thought is that you would loose momentum in the turn being that it would be pretty tight making the jump hard work. But then I thought maybe if you scaled it up a bit with a small berm.

Ok, Ta Euan. I see what you mean now but your going to need loads of speed to jump over that!

Well yes I suppose..Never really thought about that.
I was getting at if you built the berm to tight it would be hard to keep your speed, But if it was big it would be good

That's the problem. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but if you are stupid then take a bit of time to think things through.
