..My discs have been pretty sticky recently and when I'm riding and taking a corner and just tap the brakes it makes a weird noise as the disc sticks..sounds like the forks are a bit loose.
Anyone know what it is?
I recently broke the seal on the forks to stop the rain entering the steerer and its not been replaced yet..is that the cause?

What discs?
What size of rotor?
Are the bolts tightened correctly?

'discs have been pretty sticky'... as in, they are sticky when you touch them? The pistons don't retract properly? The pads get stuck to the rotor? Sticky is a pretty useless decsription.
Does it -only- happen when you take a corner?
headset done up tight?
QR in properly?
Disc rotor clean?
rotor centred in caliper?
pads rubbing?
rotor hitting top of caliper?
hose attached to stanchions?
hose rubbing on tyre?
Most noises from the front of mtbs are a result of loose headsets, bu<u></u>ggered headsets or caliper/ adapter bolts that aren't greased, but with aluminium tubing, the noise can reverberate along and appear to be coming from elsewhere.0 -
