Next weekend, I get to go up to Fort Bill to take a training course on quad bikes, so I can drive them at the World Champs in September.

Thread Hijack: How far is Fort Bill and Glentress from Edinburgh?

Fort Bill: 150 miles
Glentress: 25 miles

Car is required for Glentress though, as there is no public transport willing to carry bikes. Fort Bill, you train to Glasgow then up to Fort Bill, but the Nevis range is 7 miles out of town. National Express goes that way too, but they will probably tell you they can't take the bike.
