Ah right, what's a whore? (In biking terminology, that is) At first I thought with a name like that it must be a Cove, but I'm now thinking its just a brand less rip off of a branded bike?

card whore probably. If you didn't have a saracen x-cess, you had a cardhore back in the day. I never had either. Which is why i suck.

I did the same, and you will invariably end up spending more than you intended to, especially if your other bike is half decent.

i did the same with parts in my shed. it rode terrible and i was scared to jump it. so it got sent back from whence it came
