On my kona shred i run a dmr chain reactor mk2, but the problem is my chain is very slack and i want to take some links out. I have the necessary tools but i want to know how and will it take long?

thanks James[:)]

Shouldn't take long. If you have a shimano chain, you need to break the chain and take out a whole link, i.e. a wide and narrow bit. Then using a NEW chain pin, put the chain back together. If you have a sram chain, you need to take the powerlink out and then remove links from the end and refit the powerlink.
