Hope or Mavic

Howdy everyone

I'm looking for a new lightweight set of cross country wheels, I was considering getting a Hope pro II wheelset on 719 rims, but I saw the Mavic crosstrail wheel set on Wiggle, they're a little more expensive but are they any better? Has anyone used them? Any opinions what so ever?

Any advice/opinions would be cool.

Hope hubs are several league's better than the mavic hubs due to bearing and freewheel issues. a hope hub/mavic rim combo is always a good thing.
