motorola v220, cant hear the phone calls?

when people phone me on my mobile i cant here what there saying enless im on loud speaker? this started to happen on sat when i was out riding? just wandering if its something that can be easily fixed!

    happened to my girlfriends motorola, so i brought her a new one, dont think you can fix it really, perhaps it got damanged whilst rideing?
