Me and Doogie were out for a ride today, but between us neither could supply a tube or patches. So I was a little stuck till he suggested this, leading to this.

Here are some more pics of our trip.

I think the problem was that we didn't get enough in there. I'll give it a shot next time we both don't have tubes/patches again!

Could you not have used the rubber you seem to be using as a chain stay protector?

As far as I know, you have to cut an inner tube to use it as a chain stay protecter.

Cracking day for a ride. It wasn't a long one though, yet we had two crashes and a puncture. Fail!

Can work for roadies. But then those guys run tyres that are humanly impossible to remove without actually breaking the rim. Unless you know the secret...
