where the hell is summer?

i _really_ want to go ride tonight, but the trails are just going to be a mudbath! screw it i'm going anyway, i'll just pile the pads on so i can crash [8D]

Trails wreaked, Bike wreaked (well, poorly [:(]) Weathers s**te... Would build but CRC are being SLOOOOOW Bastereds. Nothing bike related for me to do but swap a saddle!

i had my duke of edinburgh training weekend and it rained really badly for 1 and a half days. its fine at my jumps though because we rigged up some tarpaulin over the jumps

i went out for my first proper ride last night in the worst conditions so far of the year! was good fun tho! good for the soul getting absolutely soaked and caked in sh*t!!

Tom, just go get muddy and have some fun, I think getting dirty is better than a clean boring ride anyway.

Might go for a ride in a bit. Hopefully everythings starting to dry up, as Chris said earlier you could of caught sunburn round here, but the other day the DJ's looked a bit worse for wear so might take a look down there [:)]

Problem being that "clean, boring rides" mean the the trails don't get absolutly fooked like my locals. Also means your faster. I'm really struggling to ride wet this year, winter was fine, hit a sunny patch and just got stuck in summer head mode!

it is hard to get motivated to go out in the winter, especially when i'll have to clean the bike using only a bucket and sponge in the dark outside my flat. but i haven't ridden for almost a week - so it has to be done
