Seriously though, don't knock it till you've tried it. No more taking the bike to bits, no stupid lips on the boot to dent your frame as it goes in.

IMO, they look better than the hatch mondeo too.

You get alloys and air con on the LX, aswell as the full range of engine and body choices. The CL only comes with the 1.4 and steelies.

1.6 is the lower limit if you EVER want to get anywhere.

I'd say a 1.8 petrol or a 2lTDCI (115) would be the best options though.

I don't think I'll ever have another 'normal' car after having an Estate - they Rock.

The current cakemobile will take 5 bikes (with wheels removed) and five people easily.

That said, it's not exactly been the most reliable mode of transport.....hopefully changing it shortly for something a bit more 'amusing'. [:D]
