With the amount of EU regulation on body shape, is it any wonder that cars are starting to look the same?

Asides from which, apart from the badge, the new astra sports-hatch does look very nice indeed.

No idea, but they're pretty much identical cars built to be pretty much identical in the same factories. Better a Fiat than a Vauxhall.

All I was pointing out on the Vax was the fold out bike rack from behind the number plate, go on, have a look.

I like it.

May look a little like an astra, but, will no doubt be a much better car than the vauxhall. Like every car ford make that vauxhall have a direct rival for.

That fold out carrier is a pain in the arse, very expensive & you loose your spare tyre so that it will fit.

I have used my spare twice in the last year, due to nails in the tyre, caused at work by some nugget breaking up pallets in the car park.

There was a lot wrong with um... not so bad now. I guess it says it all that I know a lot people who worked in the Luton plant who refused them as company cars because they sucked so much?

No. You can legally drive without a spare tyre. However, if you have a spare tyre, it has to be roadworthy.

And vauxhall over fiat at any point, anywhere, any time.

I'mnot atall supprised. All cars are looking the same as the others in it's class. Basicaly, because they're all becoming the same actual cars, but with different badges/a few pannels on them.

Citroen and Pug have been doing it for years, it's slowly becoming a worldwide infection.

spare tyres are required for an MOT, or a minipump and can of sealant as it found on the vectra vxrs for example, or, 4 run-flat tyres.
